Father, husband, friend of Eton Manor Rugby Club (previously of Woodford RFC), Chambers and man of Wanstead - Paul Sims tragically passed away Saturday 2 July.

I think just about all of you will know Paul and for those not great with names let me help you a little – he had served as the Youth & Mini Chairman prior to me, a friend and great supporter of Eton Manor even though he had not been here as long as some.

Many times he would be at the club – on the tractor mowing or giving other time and effort for the club and its members; I recall sitting in my first committee meeting as a guest some time back and coming away with an increased respect for hearing fight for our young peoples “right” to play on the 1st Team pitch! He did a lot for Eton Manor Rugby club!

Most importantly he was a husband to Angela and father to two children, Ciara (nearly 18) and Nye (15) who succeed him.

If you are unable to attend or would like to contriubte to the family in this time of difficulty and great sadness we invite you to support the Sims family by financial contribution where you feel inclined or able (no matter how large or small).......
