Eton Manor U15 Girls yesterday won the Essex Cup at Rochford, winning all three matches to progress to the Area Quarter finals at Pulborough RFC on 4th February. First up to face the mighty Manor girls were Basildon, who were low on numbers but brought a tough game. At one point in the game we found ourselves behind by two points - unheard of! We quickly rectified that, ending the match 24-7. Rochford were up next, for what turned out to be a very close-fought game, with the tight final score of 19-17 to the Manor. Finally we faced Sudbury/Colchester, who had a full squad enabling us at last to show what we can do with proper numbers on a full pitch. It was a great display by our girls with a fantastic 38-7 victory in just twenty minutes.

For those interested in cheering the Eton Manor U15 girls on to the next round and possibly the National Final, the club will be operating a coach to Pulborough RFC on 4th Feb leaving the club around 10.30 - details tbc.
