On behalf of the club’s Executive Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. To be held at the clubhouse on Saturday 17th June at 11.00 hours. This follows the Lions v New Zealand Maori game that kicks off at 08.35 GMT
In line with the clubs constitution, the AGM is an important date in the season for our members to hear about the progress the club has made in the past year and the ongoing developments and achievements of the various sections that make up our club. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas, by way of resolutions, about the future of our club and to vote on the nominations for the positions of the club Committee for the coming season.
Qualifying voting members may make nominations for the Committee to be elected for the season 2017-2018. This must be done by way of the nominees contacting the Clubs’ Honorary Secretary along with the name of both the Proposer and Seconder to be received by myself no later than 16th June 2017 (see contact details below). There will also be nomination forms and a separate nomination sheet posted up in the club. Members may also wish to put forward resolutions, for example to change the way the club operates or to add something to the clubs constitution. Please call me if there is anything you would like to discuss.
All current Committee members will need to re-apply for their positions and we are also keen to see new faces on the Committee. The following positions are to be elected:

To include ~ Health and Safety Officer, Risk Management, Safeguarding, Project Manager (AGP?), Facilities Manager (Club and AGP?) etc.
